Keep Edgewater Kids
in Edgewater Schools
Anne Arundel County Public Schools has published three recommended redistricting proposals from Superintendent Dr. Bedell, all of which keep Route 2 Corridor students in South River schools. An amendment that is still on the table would move our children to the Annapolis Cluster—out of all three schools: elementary, middle, and high. That amendment is based on outdated data, and the new data shows that our schools have room for these students. Moving kids out of their community would create unnecessary instability, disrupt their sense of belonging, and negatively affect their growth and success.
